Alumni Highlight: Neda Sattler (PHWS Class of 2008)

We are proud to share with you that this spring, Neda, PHWS class of 2008, graduated from the University of Minnesota with her law degree, and after passing the bar exam, she will begin her legal career at a firm in Minneapolis. She is considering a focus in intellectual property law, a field where her global experience and analytical strengths are sure to be a tremendous asset.

Neda’s journey has taken her around the world in pursuit of knowledge and service. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Germany, a Gilman International Scholar in Morocco where she studied intensive Arabic and North African cultural history, and a Critical Language Scholar through the U.S. State Department in Jordan. She also spent a year teaching in Japan and has worked as a language coach in Arabic, Spanish, and German for three years—sharing her gifts while continuing to deepen her own understanding.

Neda’s inspiring path reflects a deep commitment to learning, cultural understanding, and service. We celebrate her continued success and look forward to seeing the impact she will make as she enters the legal profession.
