Waldorf is similar to Montessori in that both models address the child's need to learn through the senses. The differences are most seen in Early Childhood. In a Waldorf Early Childhood Program, imagination, creativity and social intelligence are fostered to provide a strong foundation for academics.
A visit to a Montessori and a Waldorf classroom is an excellent way to determine which philosophy will best meet your child’s needs.
The foundation for reading is laid in our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs. We formally introduce reading in the First Grade in a developmentally appropriate way that fosters a passion and curiosity for books.
We strive to make Waldorf education accessible to all families. We are a part of the Wisconsin Choice program, and also offer Tuition Adjustments to qualifying families. More information can be found below the tuition schedule located here.
